Building up networks

At the international book fairs in Leipzig and Frankfurt I encountered many Czech and Slovak authors and their publishers as well as numerous German and Austrian publishing houses and literary agencies.

Cultivating contacts

I have cultivated and maintained these contacts (with regard to literary happenings in the Czech Republic and Slovakia) and have enabled many productive connections between these parties.

Staying on the ball

I continue to point out excellent works that I consider worth translating and also write book reviews. This aspect is quite time-consuming but nevertheless very rewarding!
