Reading
In 1996, I first got the chance to read a text at a presentation at the Czech Cultural Centre in Berlin. That was the beginning of my involvement with that institution, which still exists at present. Since that time I've had many chances to become personally acquainted with Czech authors.
Introducing
The Czech Centre then recommended me to the Prague agency BookWorld / Svět knihy, the promoter of Czech Republic presentations at international book fairs. Since 2000, I've been introducing almost all Czech authors present at the book fairs in Leipzig.
Encouraging
These readings and presentations, experiencing literature with all senses, have been extraordinarily important to me in directing the public's attention to writers and their books.
